THE GOOD GOLLY STORY

A student-athlete finding confidence, embracing imperfection and sharing every step of the journey.

Good Golly, I’m Molly Canon.

I originally started sharing my life on social media as a way to build my own confidence. What began as a personal journey has grown into a community where I hope to encourage others to embrace who they are, believe in themselves and never let their circumstances define what’s possible.

I’m passionate about promoting body positivity and self-confidence by sharing the real side of life—the good, the bad and the messy. I’ve learned that imperfection creates connection and vulnerability is what draws us together, the moments that aren’t perfectly curated are often the ones that resonate most. Whether it’s celebrating a personal best, navigating a tough season, traveling somewhere new or laughing through an embarrassing moment, I want this space to remind people that they don’t have to have it all together to be worthy of showing up.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that where you start doesn’t determine where you can finish. I came from a high school without a track program, but through hard work, determination and a love for running, I earned the privilege of competing as a Division I student-athlete at NC State. Along the way, I discovered that confidence isn’t about fitting into someone else’s expectations—it’s about being unapologetically yourself, taking up space and never being afraid to be too much.

Running has also taught me that when you look good, you feel good, and when you feel good, you perform with confidence. Whether that’s a colorful race-day outfit, a favorite pair of shoes or simply feeling comfortable in your own skin, I believe confidence starts from within and shines through in everything you do.

Social media helped me find my voice. It gave me the confidence to share my story, connect with incredible people, and create content that inspires others to chase their own goals. Today, I love creating content centered around running, fashion, travel and everyday life while partnering with brands that share my values of authenticity, creativity and genuine connection.

My hope is that whenever you leave one of my videos—or this website—you feel a little more confident, a little more inspired and reminded that you are enough exactly as you are.

Thanks for being here. I’m so glad you’re part of this journey.
